I've been working on this project on my blog for a while now, but just decided to post it here while I take a short break from photographing and editing the chapters, which has suddenly proved itself to be harder than usual.

From now on, I'll be posting chapters here as well as on my blog, so remember to check back to read 'em.

The whole thing is looking like three Volumes. Volume One will finish at 11 chapters, some time in late September, and I have no idea about the other two. I've only just started to write them.

That's all for now!

I've got a super llama now! Thanks for the llamas, llama-contributors.

Who knows? Maybe I'll actually post something again?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I said I was gonna' write loads of stuff. Then college happened blah blah blah usual excuses blah blah

But I thought I'd share that I haven't been completely idle. Firstly, head over to my YouTube channel to see some new videos (not as many as I would have liked to have made lately, but it's fine for now).

Also, I've written a whole novel. That's right - 89,000 words.
I don't want to upload anything as I'm going to try and get this novel published, and I'll update y'all on that if/when there are any updates. For now, I'm considering more Slenderman and Athasia short stories, and I may upload something around Christmas or New Years.

That's all for now - it's only taken me a year and three months to make this blog post!

You've probably noticed by now that I've been dabbling in some different stuff for the past [insert time period]. By that, I don't mean occultism or witchcraft. What I actually mean is the Slenderman Mythos.

I'm guessing everyone knows what it is, so I won't outline it here. Basically, alongside Calamity and my stop-motions, I'm now working on a couple of Slenderman projects, one of them being a series of short stories, called "Novus Ordo Britania". More on that later.

I know I haven't really put anything up in a while, but I've been...busy. And my computer sucks. I should be getting a new one really soon though, so that'll help and I'll have fewer excuses for not uploading.

But that's changing. I'm getting more active in terms of writing, and I'll be uploading more short stories, not just Slenderman, along with some more art, starting some time this week.

Keep watching this space!

Tagged!!!

7 min read
I got tagged by ids5621. What a lad. LOL!!!

Rules:
1) You must post the rules.
2) Each person must post 5 things about themselves in their journal.
3) Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create
eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.
4) You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your
journal.
5) Go to their page and tell them you have tagged them.

5 things about me:
1) I hate first-person-shooters. I find them incredibly boring, unless there's some semblance of a plot to keep me interested. And by plot, I don't mean "this guy is on a mission in Paris to stop a nuke going off" or any Call of Duty stuff - war games bore in general bore me too. I must be in the minority there.
2) Three out of eight pages is my best score in Slender.
3) I really want the Loch Ness Monster, Atlantis, Lemuria, the Jersey Devil and/or Mokèlé-mbèmbé to be real, not so that we can go out and find it, but just so that there's a little bit of mystery left in the world. A small hint will do. We know too much about the world we live in - it would be nice to think that there's a little more to it than what's immediately apparent to us.
4) When I was little, I desparately wanted to go to Hogwarts. Then Prisoner of Azkaban came out, and it changed my mind.
5) I don't believe in ghosts, but I have had several "ghostly" experiences which I can't explain.

Ids5621's questions
1. What is your favourite form of media? (movies?, Games?, etc)
-Probably movies, although I'm becoming more and more fond of internet media (webseries, interactive videos etc). I do like video games, although I'm afraid of where the technology's going. It's bad enough now, having people spend so much time killing Russians or terrorists or zombies on today's consoles, but the situation will become a whole lot worse if a virtual reality system is invented. I pity the children of tomorrow, who will have a hard time going back and forth between real life, and the constant war-worlds which fill up the gaming industry. It just doesn't create the right mentality, man!
2. If you could be any fictional character, who would it be?
-That's a tough one. A very tough one. Of today's fiction, Nathan Drake. He's such a cool dude, going on all these amazing quests to find the most incredible things, from Shamballa to Iram, even to the minotaur (in one of the books). He's reckless though, and he has a tragic history, so maybe not.
If we're including mythology though, then Perseus. Not just because of Clash of the Titans (which I love) - I've always loved the story of Perseus. He was one of the world's first, and still one of the greatest heroes. He was born of the power of gods, and yet chose to live a human life. That's commendable, to say the least. It shows that for someone who went around killing giant monsters, he truly understood the value of a mortal life. So either him or Drake, but probably Perseus.
3. If you could have any, single superpower what would it be?
-Shapeshifting. If that's considered cheating, then Superhuman Condition. That means that I'd be beyond peak physical condition - able to run faster, hit harder and heal faster than any regular human. Like Captain America, only more potent, since Captain America is only the peak of humanity.
4.Do you think we should fix our own world before concerning ourselves with spacetravel?
-I don't think they're as separate as you do. If we do become overpopulated (which I don't think we will anytime soon), then expanding to other inhabitable or terraformed planets may be worth the investment. But yes, I do think we should solve real problems before travelling out into the final frontier, though that may leave us waiting for space-travel for a very long time.
5.Would you rather have a boring job that pays well, or a fun job thats pays poorly?
-Fun job that pays poorly. I can't imagine leading a life of loathing. That's not what it's all about. Our lives don't have meaning unless we give them meaning, and we do that by living them the way we want to - in the richest, fullest way possible (as long as it doesn't stop others from doing the same).
6.dream job?
-In realistic terms, my dream job would be director, of a big Hollywood blockbuster, that I'd also co-written, or adapted myself. Maybe a movie of The Power of the Coming Race. I'd quite fancy doing that.
7.What do you feel is your best trait/skill/etc?
-Probably my creativity. You have no idea of some of the stuff I think up. Most of it's too weird or complex to be worth mentioning, but sometimes I can have a real gem of an idea, if I do say so myself.
8. Sci fi, or fantasy?
-That's like saying Pepsi or Cranberry juice. Incredibly tough. Probably sci-fi, because I can relate to it better. Good fantasy is difficult to come by because of its mystical nature - it's not supposed to be something that just anyone can think up. Plus, modern fantasy tries to draw too much from sci-fi anyway. Tolkien's one of the few fantasy authors who I believe to have truly understood the genre.
9. Family guy or the classic simpsons?
-The Simpsons. I don't really like Family Guy.
10.what was your favourite childhood cartoon? (did ou watch cartoons?)
-Of course I watched cartoons! He-Man, Lilo and Stitch, Batfink, Kim Possible (guilty pleasure I guess), Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, The Last Airbender, The Batman...but my favourite was probably Jackie Chan Adventures. I've still got every single issue of the comics as well, bar one (the Christmas special). I was pretty fond of Pokemon too, and I still love the games, but nothing will ever beat Jackie Chan. He remains my fave martial arts star.
11.Chicken or beef? Or are you vegetarian/vegan?
-Chicken. It goes with everything. Easy to prepare, easy to use, easy to eat. Safe.

Now, I have no clue who to tag. I certainly don't have 11 people, but here goes:

Kat-anni: kat-anni.deviantart.com/
1011ev: 1011ev.deviantart.com/
ValkyrieLightDragon: valkyrielightdragon.deviantart…
Kylernuva135: kylernuva135.deviantart.com/

I don't really know anyone else who hasn't already been tagged, so this'll have to do.

My 11 questions are:
1) Romney or Obama?
2) Why did you join DeviantArt?
3) Have you ever had a secret that you feel has defined you in some way (if so, you don't have to share the secret, 'coz that'd be harsh)?
4) If you could live in any time period, when would it be?
5) Werewolf or vampire, and why.
6) Indiana Jones, Lara Croft, or Nathan Drake?
7) Do you think that our resources as a people are being put to use in the right way? Is furthering our technology, scientific understandings, medicine and quality of life really the best way to utilize two million years of human evolution?
8) Why do you think we exist?
9) Do you think that there's life beyond Earth, either in space or in the supernatural?
10) If someone offered you immortality, would you take it?
11) Is it better to be in love for the sake of it, or to wait years for your first real relationship?

Sorry if some of them are a bit odd, but I tend to be a relatively deep thinker. I've tried to tone it down for this.

That's all folks! Da-da-da-duh-duh-DAAAAAA!!!
